Had them here a few years ago , and cheap too . I used to cook them over a red oak fire . Fantastic .
Then the price went thru the roof , nobody bought them , and they were gone .
Had them around 3 years ago because I saw a post about them. Had to order them at a meat shop and I really liked them, but they charged $30 for a full plate. At that time you could get a 13 or 14lb packer for about the same. Same with Tri Tip if you could find someone who knew what they are.
Amazing how availability is so different around the country...

Yea a while bake we could get them any where her for 1.99/lb. now the price ranges from 2.49 to 5.99. I hoard all the 2.49 when I get the chance!

This Picture should be Framed & Hung on the wall in the kitchen!!!

Thanks Gary! I know our consumption of ribeyes has dropped because of them....I don’t know when I discovered them but ever since life has been good!
