Went to the GS with Mrs C the other day and spied some on sale plate ribs (5.99/lb) so I grabbed a nice marbled one before I could even blink
Washed it down with some Worcester sauce the a splash of kinders sweet heat and finally my Asian beef rub....then on the RT 1250 at 265!
3.5 hours in at INT 175, time to boat....man oh man!!!
Ran them to INT 200 (about 5.5 hours total) then in the house oven at 140 till dinner time (in the rest mode for 3 hours)
Bingo time to slice.....the bones just slide out clean as I grabbed them so now slicing as a brisket!!!! Can I repeat myself....OH MAN!!!!
This packeted had killer marbling Just YUM!
All sliced up and lightly dressed with the pan drippings....only a little was needed cause the slices were full of flavor and rendered goodness as is!
The "plate" ribs were joined by some smashed and herb butter fried baby potato's and some pan roots ....It is all topped with some balsamic bbq sause that Mrs C wipped up....she is the sauce queen in our hour for sure!
Topped with some chopped green herbs for the money shot!!
