ShooterRick's Copperhead Snakebite Chicken LegQuarters w/QVu

This past Thursday afternoon, I ran across this score- 10 Lbs chicken leg quarters at 20 cents/Lb. 'Course I wanted several bags, but the other folks had beaten me to most of them, so I only got two. No worries! Deep freeze one and that smoke the other during this weekend's Fattie Throwdown~ Gotta have ShooterRick's Snakebite if yer gonna have chicken, of course. During my Fattie, this smoked too...




Rubbed half with Rick's, and half with just sea salt and pepper-


And here they are, ready to eat. SnakeBite on the left, salt and pepper on the right. Thanks for looking.

I love smoked leg quarters. After fatties they might be my favorite thing to eat. Nice work.

I was just at the local store and found 10 pound bags like this for $4.99. Not as good a deal as yours, but that's still pretty cheap. I picked up a couple bags. It was at Hy-Vee a midwest grocery store chain.
