I figured it was time to do some shish kabobs. And it gave me a reason to try out these sausages I brought back from vacation.

I cut these into 2" pieces along with 2 pounds of pork tender loin. I marinated the pork in this marinade for 4 or so hours.

Then skewered them up.

Then put them on the weber with direct heat with some hickory chips mixed with the charcoal until the tenderloin hit 140.

Plated up with a mac salad with "lobster" and bacon with a caeser dressing.

Meal was excellent. This marinade really worked great with the pork. And the sausage was delicious. Wish I bought more then 2 packs!

Looks delicious Steve. Great job. I've never thought of Sausage or Pork for Shish Kebab. Great idea.
Usually Beef, Chicken, Shrimp.

Thank you! I have also used chicken and kielbasa in the past. I was going to use pork belly this time. But forgot to take it out of the freezer.

Looks good!
I need to try some of those marinades.
Thanks! Their marinades are pretty good. And you can adjust what you put in them. Quite often I'll use red wine vinegar instead od water to give it a touch of tang. Great on seafood and pork.

Thank you! The sausage had the perfect amount of fat and spices. If you can get these. I recommend them.

Excellent looking kabobs Steve , and can't go wrong with any type of a mac salad.

How could anyone say "no" to those kabobs and mac salad?
I know I couldn't and wouldn't.
