And because I wanted to try the poultry marinade I've been working on perfecting before we release it.

Marinated these leg quarters overnight with a packet of our new marinade mix with a bottle of Leinenkugel Honey Weiss. Smoked on the Old Country Brazos to 185°. Still needs a few tweaks, but we're close to what I'm shooting for. Still really good, but needs a little more heat.

Wife made some smashed mini goldens with cheese to go along with them.

Entire dinner for the 4 of us cost about $3.25...can't go wrong with that these days!

We're currently only in select stores in Northeast Wisconsin and Southeast Texas. We're mostly online, but if you're interested wait until November. We run a month-long Black Friday sale. 😉

Looks great Shaun!
how do you think that marinade would work as an entire turkey brine/marinade? November timing would be perfect.

I think it would work really well, but would need a few packets as it's designed for about 4 lbs of chicken.

Buuuuuuuuut, you just had a great idea and I may put together a larger pack designed for a 15 lb turkey that I can offer in November

looks great! i love smoked chicken! and legs quarters, like pork butts, you cant mess up. lol

Those look great. Maybe have one with the heat and one without. You know how some of those Midwest folks can be. Yeah I'm thinking if my in laws.

Looks mighty tasty!
By the way. I tried your burger sauce. It's very, very good!
Thanks. If it weren't for the costs associated to keep it shelf stable, we'd bottle it. But I'm stubborn and refuse to use a co-packer, and I refuse to add any chemicals or preservatives to my stuff, so it's easier just to give the recipe away for folks to enjoy. I'm likely going to do the same with my pulled pork finishing sauce real soon.
