Hey guys. Just got the Copperhead from Walmart on Saturday. For the first cook I did 15 brats, 2 thick pork steaks, and 6 country style ribs. Turned out pretty good, I was very pleased.

Today I did a brisket (and my first attempt at burnt ends, wasn't sure what I was doing), 3 racks of baby back ribs, and 8 more of those thick pork steaks. Overall, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. There were some temp swings, and some were bigger than I expected, but I don't really care, the food turned out great.

I did this brisket very simply, just salt, pepper, garlic powder for the rub and some smoke from the Pitboss Competition Blend pellets. I love it. I took it to work, and everyone in the ER loves it too!!! Just wanted to share.

Congratulations on the new smoker and your food looks great. What better place is there to try out something new then the ER. Plenty of help if something doesn't quite cut the mustard.

Point for sure.

I'm in the ER more than I am in my office on my unit. They certainly benefit from and appreciate my cooking.

I like the look of them and if I could have layed hands on the large 1 when I got ready to buy it would be here instead of the austin xl,coarse the austin has been trouble free and does a great job so far
