Hello All, My name is Scott and I'm a beginner here. I just built a cold smoker out of a fridge. During the heat of the Florida day the charcoal and wood chips are at 160 degrees F., while the storage locker above is smoking at 80 degrees F. I plan on smoking lots of meat this winter. That should drop the temp by 10 degrees minimum this fall and winter. I love hot and cold smoke foods. My entire family is looking forward to the member's expertise in this forum.
