Before I go hog wild ordering randomness on Amazon at 2am, I decided to go rummaging through some boxes in our utility closet marked kitchen. I came across this knife set and thought to myself jackpot. Did a quick paper test and everyone of em are dull. Not even sure I have a complete set or what else I should still order if I decide to not use these. The 3 rivet ones are sunbeam? And the none rivet ones have no name.

So I'm just looking for thoughts, opinions. Keep, toss, what should be added etc.

I have the same as your top and fourth and sixth down, the handles are the same. The bread knife (#4) is marked as Washington Forge. The bottom knife has the same handle but I don't recognize it as something from my set.

Thanks for that info, i have some place to start on making a set. The bottom one idk it was in there with a bunch of steak knives, but it was different so I grabbed it out too lol.

If you hunt and/or process any on the bone meat, the 2nd from the top and the 2nd from the bottom are the ones that will come in handy.

The 2nd from the bottom is called a Boning Knife. It is really handy for removing meat from the bone, separating roasts, removing unwanted tissue, etc. etc. The 2nd from the TOP seems like a larger version or something between a boning knife and a larger breaking knife (used for breaking down larger cuts of meat into smaller cuts).

I hope this info helps :)

It looks like you have every knife you would need, just keep them razor sharp.
I have an electric sharpener, but use a diamond steel & give the knife a few strokes every time I use one.
This way I very rarely need the electric sharpener.

"One of these is not like the others" I'd like to know the story behind #5 down, it looks like a well-experienced piece.
