Hey everyone, my name is Ryne. I have been browsing the site for a week or so now and decided to sign up. I was never much of a smoker or anything. But I took a vacation to North Carolina with the wife and had some pulled pork with slaw and vinegar sauce on it and my life was changed forever. here in Illinois, we just get the basic non smoked pork with tomato based sauce. I couldn't believe how seriously people took there barbecue in North Carolina. It inspired me to try it when I got home. Most of my attempts were hit and miss. Since I discovered this site, I got myself a Masterbuilt Pro electric smoker and have been experimenting with different things. I hope to become a pretty solid smoker. I tried a finishing sauce on here that was vinegar based and I was in love. So im excited for what else I can gain from this site.
