I have made a couple batches of Roller's bread.       http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/t/113196/amish-white-sandwich-bread

It turned out great.

I decided to make some buns with it.

This is very easy and you should try it.

We got a bakers dozen out of it.


Haven some burgers with my new rolls.


Nice and low for now.


Forgot pics of the sear.

Just look at that bun.  Nice and golden brown.

Yea, they are great.

Anyone know how well these would freeze?
 
You can freeze them - the fresher they are when you freeze them the better. Usually I make them fresh these days but I have frozen them before. Just wrap them in plastic wrap & then in foil. You could also use freezer paper instead of foil. They take about an hour & a half to thaw at room temperature. I never had any luck thawing in the microwave - they always got chewy...
 
We ended making all buns out of it this time.

I think next time we will make 1 loaf and the rest buns.

Those look perfect!! Love that recipe, from bread, to buns to pizza to bagels it does it all. By the way, anybody know what happened to old Roller? haven't seen him on here in a while.

Pizza crust,  yea I am going to have to try it.
