Hello to all. I would like to introduce myself to the gang, but first let me say great job to everyone for maintaining such an informative site.

My name is Ben Mabile (pronounced like Mobile with an a) and I live in south Louisiana. I have been a back yard cook for 12 years using a variety of different pits and smokers. I love to entertain and cooking is my release. Since I cannot afford what I really want right now, I decided to start researching electric smokers which is how I stumbled upon this site. I recently purchased a Masterbuilt Electric Smoker 40 and I will be more than happy to share my smoky experiences with you all.
