Retirement Isn't Bad!!

Retired this past Friday after 44 years since graduation. My beautiful daughters surprised me with a new deck toy. We went to visit them and drove the Camry, so needless to say the griddle stays with one of them until drive back with the truck. I can't wait to unpack it and get that first meal off it. Will it be breakfast? Lunch? Dinner? Or all of them?

Not sure where it will sit though. Good thing our deck is 25x35.

Got to celebrate the occasion with family, including younger sister and BIL who drove 4+ hours to join us. Great time! Great meal at a small Italian restaurant north side of Indianapolis. Manhattans were pretty good too.

Congrats on retirement. You will enjoy the flat top, they are a lot of fun to cook on show off with. And things like frying fish can now be done outside where it should be.
