Holy smokes! That's crazy.

Costco here has a regular price for prime briskets at $3.29/lb, sometimes on sale down to $2.79/lb. Do you have a Costco near you?

Nearest one is in Tulsa...about 50 miles from here. Never been member, though...we're Sam's Club members (also in Tulsa), but don't make it over there often enough. When we occasionally find a good deal on briskets for less than $4/lb., we'll stock up the freezer....but it's been a while since we've found em that cheap.
