Rain!

Had my brand new MES 40 heating up for my first smoke (whole chicken) and started hearing something outside. Turned out it was a decent downpour.  It was pretty wet, including my Mavrick receiver, before I got it covered with a tarp. Hope all is well.

Today's forecast was clear skies. Will try again when this passes.  Going to be a late night smoking.

The tarp was half off this morning when I came out to try again.  Everything works though.  Chicken got some extra brine time.
