Yippee!! Another reprieve due to the weather!! As mentioned in a previous thread, I procured 10 amazing whole top sirloin roasts. From those I cut a bunch of smaller roasts and a slew of steaks. At the price point for these, I'll have to say they are one of my favorite cuts of beef. Very versatile so you can do a lot of different things with them. They have a deep, rich beefy flavor that's superior to a lot of more expensive cuts, and great texture. We've been super busy around here so have had a lot of quick meals, this being one of them. Got a couple of 12 ounce top sirloin steaks out and defrosted them. Seasoned, tossed taters in the microwave, and cut up a nice Italian themed salad. Basically a 15 or 20 minute dinner that came out very well.

The steaks seasoned up

This is the rub I used. The guy doesn't look quite normal but man oh man, his spice mixes are amazing!!

Close-up. This is beef nirvana. With the help of a decent instant read thermometer I managed to nail the steaks.

I've learned a tremendous amount from the great people in this forum and have been able to utilize that knowledge in a number of different ways. Not the least of which is the ability to eat well even with severe time constraints. These steaks were outstanding and the whole meal was very good....and all done in a very short amount of time. Well, gotta go stuff a bunch of sausage I made yesterday afternoon but ran out of time to finish. Y'all take care and thanks for taking a look.

Looks fantastic, Robert! Thanks for taking the time to post this amazing meal.

Nice piece of work Robert, you nailed it! Since receiving the package of CPB roasts, ribs, and steaks you sent to me I've come to realize it's the most flavorful beef on the planet, doesn't get any better than that. RAY

Great steak Robert and you know I love that rub!! I usually have at least 3 bottles at all times lol. Speaking of tasks my wife also just dropped a ton on me!! We have family coming for a few days so essentially we need to turn the home in better homes and gardens I guess. Wonder if she’s ever saw their place LOL.

Robert, looks absolutely incredible! We love the texture of the sirloins as well, and your pictures capture that "grainy-ness" to perfection!
