One of my favorite meals that I learned from my wife, Shanghai breakfast noodles. Combine that with some good ole American BBQ for a bit of Asian fusion an you get this tasty bowl of noodles.
The pulled pork was a great addition to this bowl. The sweet an smokey pork combine with the rich an flavorful egg broth.
The egg was fried using some garlic ginger oil I recently made.
The sauce was a base of scallion oil a splash of seasame oil and garlic chili oil, Light soy sauce, a small amount of oyster sauce, shaoxing wine an the egg broth
I also added some thin sliced portabella mushrooms to the broth mix while boiling the egg an noodles.
I used seasame seed, fresh thin sliced scallion an some of scallion an shallot crisp from the scallion oil as a garnish.
