Missoula you say? I have heard of that place, oh wait, I live there too:) I too like
making chili without beans, seems to me like that’s the way it should be made, but friends
and family don’t agree. So alas I had to start using beans, they don’t know what they
are missing. The chili looks great. Great photo of you and your daughter, I hope she had
fun it’s never to early for them to start learning to cook.

Now that would be right up my wife's alley no beans.
Great job by both of you and the life time memories you are building will pasted on to even your daughters grandkids saying I can remember when. Just awesome family job.

Looks very tasty - congrats on the 1,2 win! I'm not quite the chili purist but I'm totally fine leaving the beans on the shelf. I also like cooking with fresh chilies but that adds a challenge as typically I can't find all varieties I used previously.

No problem finding chili's around here all the food stores carry a large line of peppers due to the type of customers we have here.

Well Preacher man, I am late to the party but man that looked good. Congrats on the finish, Great that you are doing all that with your daughter. I love to share the passion and teaching of cooking with kids, Mine enjoy it but do it more as a necessity than a creative desire, Every now and then though they surprise me with food or actually cook for me or help to learn how. I love that.
Congrats on your carousel ride as well.

Get looking Chili. But the best is the Daddy / Daughter cooking contest. What would you have done if she won 1st place? It's great you inspire your daughter and she wants to take part in the competition. My hat goes off to both of you. Maybe they should host something like that in a THROWDOWN here. All for family cooking together. It inspires young minds to get creative with food. Again. Good job to both of you.
