Too hot today to heat the house with the oven, Mrs philpom planned lasagna for dinner so I offered to fire up the Primo and bake it out back. Used a neutral lump, 400°f 35 minutes covered and 10 minutes uncovered.

Ready to eat!

Cheers!

Always a great option . Great looking Lasagna too !

Never considered doing a Lasagna on the grill. Do you taste any smoke/charcoal flavor in it?
Not really, I used a neutral lump and a kamado is ideal when used as an oven for baking all kinds of things as long as you didn't do something like a pork butt the day before! Running at 400°f in the dome translates to probably 700°f in the fire bowl so it's pretty darn clean burning.

Plus the pan was covered with foil for most of the cook.

Awesome! My wife and I appreciate the tip. I love grilling (Kamado Joe) and she makes a great lasagna! Win-win!

You'll love it! FWIW, we use the skinner no boil pasta, speeds up the process greatly. Your kamado joe will be perfect, ever tried to bake an artisan loaf of bread in it?

Never made bread in my life. On my list though!

That's a great meal for me... but uh what the rest of you going to eat. That looks so good. My wife makes a good one but would never let me do it on the grill. My favorite meal of all time. Looks so good!

For some reason my wife can't wrap her head around a grill being an oven. Not even for pizza!

Thanks everyone, was a little bit of a different grill session but works well.

Sitting around 100 today, not cooking outside! Wife is doing beef tortellini in the crock pot.

Busy weekend, outdoor movie and 60 hotdogs on the grill last night (another club member helped with that) and I grilled burgers, hotlinks, and hotdogs at church this afternoon.

coasting from here!

Kiss of smoke never hurt a dish with cheese in it.

Looks great
