I bought a cowboy as they call it at the market here. Wanted to get a PR but for 2 of us a 8 lb wasn't smart do the cowboy which was a 1 bone prime rib and weighed over 2 pounds. It tasted amazing. New house coming next month and a full one will be cooking in celebration.

Awesome. Why not buy bigger and freeze?

Damn Adam... Look what you made me do tonight..

I think I need an intervention..

Glad I could help you figure out dinner tonight.

Chris, before I seen the pic of the PR, I thought you bought a kettle off of Craigslist.
Nice PR !

Justin

Hahaha Justin... You know me well. I have many smoking related addictions. It's safe to say that I purchase grills and smokers more frequently than prime ribs haha

BTW: I'm going there again tomorrow, because they also have Smoked Shank Ends @ 79 cents a pound on that same flyer (Tomorrow's the last day).  I need it to do a Double Smoked Ham on Easter Sunday.

I seen the sale on hams too.   Might have to pick one up when I go back for the PR.

Great to see someone who knows how to treat beef do it right.

Points for a great looking piece of beef.
