Our Costco has been at $2.99/lb for prime since about Christmas. Just checked Sam's online and it's showing $3.28, the usual price. Great find, I'd have gotten 2!

I haven't been to local Sam's in over 3 weeks. Brisket and pork ribs were not great pricing at last visit.

Stopped at (closest) Costco on Sunday. Brisket was $2.99 for prime. Wanted a pork belly as the price was good, but the meat cutters sliced the best and left the crap for whole slab.

It's a shame all there stores don't have the same prices I haven't seen it that cheap in years here. Still no tri tip when I was there about a month ago Sam's nor Costco.
I have to go to the big city tomorrow maybe I'll check just to see thanks

Why is Florida so overpriced on most grocery items?

That's a great question I don't really know the answer to I'm guessing greed. There is no state income tax, minimum wage is low, property taxes are less than a lot of other states but we have high prices on a lot of things. Given those things about all I can come up with is the companies want to make more profit.

Baby back ribs are $1.99/lb at Food Lion this week. Boston butts single pack 99¢/lb. Saturday only. Another semi-local grocer, KJ's, has twin pack butts all week for 99¢/lb. If they're not Smithfield, I may have to get one sliced for a "Pork Steaks My Way" cook..:emoji_wink:

Heading to Sam's today to check out the prime brisket.....

Well, my/our Sam's has prime brisket for $3.28/lb. and choice for $2.78/lb. The choice at Kroger for$1.99/lb. is a good deal, but I haven't looked at them.....

Awesome price, I’d buy one to just grind for burgers, taco’s, chili, enchiladas, etc. We grind & put in 1 lb. vac pack bags, smash them out flat & freeze them. Also use a burger press to make a bunch of brisket burgers, freeze them on a cookie sheet, then vac pack them when they are frozen.

So after my trek to Sam's, I went to Food Lion to check out the baby back ribs and in the counter they had trimmed, USDA Choice brisket flats for $3.69/lb. These are in Cryovac and about 3 lbs. or so each. They only had 2, but not any more.....:emoji_wink:

As for the ribs, they are Smithfield so I passed.....:emoji_disappointed:
