I'm new to the forum, so maybe this is a previous discussion. Has anyone pressure cooked ribs and them smoked them (or vice-versa)?

Not in a pressure cooker. I have a SIL who will crook-pot hers. Then throw onto the smoker. Tastes good, just not the same.

I have done all kinds of methods. Pressure cooker or oven then char' grilled on charcoal. It still isn't the same. Tasty, but not A grade. Even my electric smokers aren't the same as my charcoal and natural gas smokers. Combustion is a huge component.

Just wondering why you would want to do ribs that way, in a pressure cooker.
Unless your looking to get them done quicker.
If that's the case then just run your smoker at 275-300 & they will be done in 3-4 hours.
