PP stuffed Manicotti

Thought I would try something with left over Pulled Pork!

1 box manicotti

1lb shredded mozarella

1 jar speghetti sauce

2 sprigs fresh basil

                                   I par boiled the manicotti and stuffed with PP

placed in casserole dish and coverd with sauce, baked covered for 45mins.

Then uncovered, covered with mozzarella, and baked another 20mins. Oh yeah, this was baked @ 375º

final plating! It was actually very good, wasn't sure how cheese, and PP would be together, but it turned out pretty darn good!

Looks great!  I probably would have tried to incorporate some ricotta cheese in there as well (just 'cause I really like it).

I'm with you on that! I just used what I had lyin around. With a little planning I think the combos are endless! Matter of fact I'm already planning the next one

Raptor, do you have a spare bedroom? I've always thought about moving to Florida. I won't get in the way and I can tend a smoker.

Okay, so I had to come back and take another look at this and drool some more. I just have to do this! That combo just sounds so darn good! Once again, you rock raptor! See, this is what this site is all about. Sharing the love! LOL!
