What is the going price on pork butt? I just bought 2 butts for $1.49 a pound.

That's what I find them for most of the time. My local grocery store has them on sale this week for $.99 / pound. Gonna clean them out as soon as I get the chance.

On sale here right now for $1.49 at our restaurant supply. Close to $3.00 at the normal grocery store.

Last year in January I was paying $1.10 lb case price. Then Wegmans had their butts on sale for .99 lb and I filled my freezer up. Just using the last butt up tomorrow.
Local price currently $ 1.49 lb.

Local Wal Mart has them for 1.24-1.47 depending on the cut.

Another grocer has monthly sales and butt is .99/lb during that time.  Always pick up some when it is on sale along with the bags of chicken hind quarters for .59/lb.
