Sorry, I wasn't quite sure where to put this post. So General it is. If it needs to go elsewhere - Mods have at it.

Finally we had a day above freezing. Saturday hit 50* I believe so the WSM was fired up

Sorry no pic's of the prep.

The meatlovers fatty contained ham, pepperoni, porsciutto, salami, pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, sausage and bacon.
The meatloaf was made with pork, hamburger, green bell, japs, and hobanero peppers.

Chicken was cooked bare-naked with an apple wood smoke. Then covered in Franks-n-butter mix.

Enjoy

A feast fit for a Yeti! Good looking Brittany!

Thanks for the comment and like Moto. Brittany...I live New England not old England or France(that is if I understand the term Brittany correctly). LOL.

I have to figure out the picture thing almost every time I post. I'm down with the meat lovers fatty. I'm definitely going to have to make one of those. Everything looks outstanding! Nice work.

Thanks for the like really appreciate it. The meatlovers was delicious and went pretty quick. Glad I don't have a checkup anytime soon.

That's really a fantastic meal.
You guys up north just amaze me.
Honestly I don't know how you get the motivation to get out in the snow & fire up your smoker.
Everything looks absolutely delicious!
Congrats on making the carousel!

Sorry about the pics? Dude you need to get an award for pulling that cook off. The fattie, the meatloaf, the wings, the spuds; I mean that's one heck of a meal cooked at North Pole conditions!!

Also love your dog. Heck they don't care if it's hot, cold or indifferent. They just smell meat and come runnin' !!!

It's a Northern thing - you know it gets cold in the winter, you adapt to it, it is "normal" to go out at 0°. When you get the 'January thaw', above freezing is shirtsleeve weather! One time, on New Year's Day, it went from -30° to +35 in a few hours. I was just getting a coat on to go out and move my car to the street and all the ice (2 ft. thick) all slid off my roof and hit my car, crushing it. Had to get it straightened, it destroyed the hatch rear, got a used one from the junkyard and got the front windshield replaced. Drove around with plastic for a month!

Good story Pops....but surely you're not talking about Fort Worth .....

I'm from Chicago originally and lived by the Wisconsin border. The winter of 1975 had temperatures around -10* F and I left to move south looking for work in construction. When I got to south Texas the temp was about 65* F, a full 75* swing in about 18 hours !!! I thought I'd died and gone to hog heaven !!

Well since then, my blood has thinned and I struggle with anything below 70* F. Just goes to point out what you said, the body adapts and a man gotta eat !!! :);):p

I can relate to that,I was ice fishing and temp went up to mid 50s,I was sweating taking layer after layer off.Now I am in a Tee Shirt LOL State Police come out and ask me if I'm Drunk LOL

Your bird dog - Brittany spaniel ?

Motocrash, he's a Heinz 57 dog, probably the best pooch I've ever had. I've never given much thought to his main breed. All I know is he has never pee'd in the house and is always there waiting to accompany me with whatever I do. Also he won't run away. Thanks for the like really appreciate it. Sorry I misunderstood the Brittany comment.

Thanks for like Richie, I think the delay was more of an operator error. I'm fairly new to posting pic's, as I just got a digital camera, and don't own or want a cell phone. It was great and we northerner's have to take advantage of the few warmer winter days we get.

Awesome job! Everything looks good, except the yellow snow! Ohhhh, Skid Mark...

Thanks for the like yankee, Skid does do a number near the back door during the winter. You wouldn't want to see the before picture prior to me shoveling an area out to place my grills.

That's really a fantastic meal.

Thanks Al it means allot to me. I guess it's what your used to. I've been to St.Louis in the summer and wouldn't think of smoking during the June/July/August time period(to humid). Once while in San Diego I went swimming in the ocean and I was the only one there without a wet-suit.

Thanks troutman for the like, your right he's always there when the grill or smoker is fired up. With the weather we've had this year you have to fill the smoker up with everything you can whenever you can. Not to mention I'm still trying to restock the freezer from our last power outage.

Pop's your correct it is a northern thing, and I'll take the cold over the high heat and humidity of the south. We can layer our clothes to stay warm, but in the south you only have a couple of options before you get busted for indecent exposure. Besides nobody wants to see an old fat dude like me in a speedo LOL.

Chris

That fattie looks amazing! Got me drooling all over keyboard! Great job.. POINT for sure

It' still a novelty to me seeing snow in the yard of everyone haha ive only ever actually seen snow once in real life
