Awesome news to hear! Brought a sigh of relief for me when I caught the news.

Glad you'll still be in circulation here, too...no price can be put on a man's wisdom and knowledge, but especially your's.

Hang loose and relax while you heal up...you need it!

Eric

Well, glad they could fix it thus far,now it's up to me to get on the straight and narrow.   A pic of the damage done:

The surgeon cut open the length of the carotid on the right side, cut open the carotid itself lengthwise, scraped out the ulcerations, then dissolvable stitched it closed, then (get this!) skin-glued it sealed and then skin-glued the wound sealed, no stitching except for a couple to hold the drain temporarily in (small horizontal cut) and skin-glued that shut when the drain was removed the next morning!  And bango, I was released whereas it normally would require 5 - 7 days to heal and remove stitches!  I think there was a YouTube about "Meat Glue" on here, wonder if it's a derivative?

But, absolutely amazed at the advancements of this technology!

Welcome Back, Pops!!

Looks great--Considering!!

Take it EASY now, for awhile!

Glad to see you back Pops (or at least your kneck is anyway... lol). Yeah that skin glue is crazy stuff... and trust me you don't even want to know how much that stuff costs! It's something like $1400 per gallon! And I thought Big Oil was a kick in the nuts!
