Just ordered a 5x8 AMNPS loaded with Apple for when I smoke my bacon next week. . I plum forgot to get some butcher paper. I picked up a brisket today and it's to late to get paper for this one.. Lol. oh well..

I just found out,..... 18 ain't wide enough for my briskets... I'm gonna have to cut my briskets smaller.. not a big deal.. a whole brisket is too big for my smoker anyway..

What is the typical weight (thickness) of this paper. I see some butcher paper at 40#, some at 60#. What thickness is recommended?

This stuff is 40# and it seems to work for BBQ joints... Worked for me...
