That looks incredible!
Thanks Mike . They're good bud .

What cut is that?
Teres-major or petite tender is the correct name . GFS sells them as " chuck tenders " which to me is a different cut .
This is how they're sold at GFS .

Out of the bag untrimmed .

All trimmed up .

Then I save all the clean trim and make snack sticks .

Here's a thread I did awhile back . Maybe you saw it already .

Excellent looking dinner there Rich! A steak done in CI is sure hard to beat! If it’s a thinner cut not requiring the use of an oven, I’ll put the pan on the grill and sear outside….sure does smell a house up!

Looks good from here.
John , thank you sir . I had plans to be there in July , but decided to cancel . Be back some day .
I like that Fort Morgan area .
Good to see you BTW , thanks for the comment .

LOOKS KILLER RICH but yet a cut I cannot get! LOL We're big fans of pan sears. It's more of a bistro/gastro pub type flavor and sure hits the spot at times. Your son was spot on with a pan sauce for those! We like Steak Diane. I sear outside hit it HARD. I went through a serious pan sear phase and use sirloin. Even kept fat/tallow from my brisket trim to use and it does add a bit of flavor.

Thanks Sam . If the price was right you could have them order some . Might have to buy the whole case though . I've seen them as low as $4.59 a pound .
GFS labels them as Chuck Tenders . They make great stir fry because they are so tender .

We like Steak Diane.
Yup . Me too . I had that thought when he made the sauce . He's good with that stuff . Gets kind of tense sometimes when we're both in the kitchen . Lol .

That stings. Too much stuff in the garage to cook in there now and DYING to do some stir fry! I went REALLY far down the asian rabbit hole with cookbooks and ingredients and ready to go.

Rich,
I decided to give these a try, but I figured my "Giant" market wouldn't have them on their Website, like so many other things. However I looked, and it said "Beef Chuck Tenders"----$7.29.
So they do carry them, but it also said "Out of Stock", so I gotta wait.

It's a great cut for beef stir fry . I cook xtra so I have leftovers , then use it in stir fry .

Thanks chop been a rough time for me losing a son 2 months ago then my wife 2 weeks ago. Thanks for the like I appreciate it.

Y'all just be careful what you buy. Chuck Tenders/ Petite Tenders are not to be confused with Mock Tenders/Scotch Tenders. That is a completely different cut and tough as all get out. About the same size and shape as an Eye of Round. Big on one end and tapered on the other.
Petite Tenders (Teres Majors) are only about 10 inches long and tapered on both ends. (see Chops earlier pics)and about 2- 2 1/2 inches across at most in the center..

Chop that’s five star cooking right there!! I’d pay a pretty penny for that. Love the seasoned butter and herbs finish.
