Pellets vs Chips

I was at the hardware store today and noticed that they had 10 lb bag of pellets (many kinds) for $20.  I have always used in my WSM or Masterbuilt is chunks or chips.  Has anyone used these products and how does it rate?  Thanks

I don't know about the WSM, but I don't think you're supposed to use pellets in an MES.

Pellets are mainly for Pellet Poopers and the Amazing AMNPS & Amazing Tube smoker.

I'd think that pellets would burn through too fast in a WSM.  In a pellet pooper or an Amazen product, the rate of burn is controlled by limiting how many pellets are burned at any one time.   Don't know how you would do that effectively in a WSM.
