That's the plan. Now just have to decide the color(s)...Nothing wrong with " celebrating " it on it's own as opposed to trying to hide it .
Make it it's own thing , and enjoy it .

Apparently so because I've seen paint peeling off of aluminum fascia...Painting the AL is harder than the vinyl.
Some of these guys would give you great advice... me on the other hand wouldn't care if it's neon pink. Just hand me a drink and show me what's on the smoker... that's my favorite color!Always open to suggestions, Ryan...
For AL, I would wash with a scotch bright and TSP, then paint with bullseye then the top coat..... I would also tend to use a sprayer for the application, I have a Fuji sprayer....ie can get a nice application that is very controlled.......Apparently so because I've seen paint peeling off of aluminum fascia...

For vinyl you want to brush it in the texture and not spray......

That's the way to do it . Proper prep , proper paint , and spray .My vinyl was sprayed with primer then paint. Looks fantastic
Ah good deal! Our vinyl had lots of creases and texture and the Sherwin Williams rep recommended we brush, but we used a self priming top coat.My vinyl was sprayed with primer then paint. Looks fantastic
Wasn’t calling you out bud lol. Just saying what worked for usAh good deal! Our vinyl had lots of creases and texture and the Sherwin Williams rep recommended we brush, but we used a self priming top coat.
Understood, going into the project I was fully planning on a prime coat and topcoat all sprayed so when the rep recommended brush (with the TSP brush scrub first) with just the topcoat (SW Emerald) I was a bit skeptical at first......but I'm pleased now.... Alot of vinyl in our area gets painted over.....Wasn’t calling you out bud lol. Just saying what worked for us
