Hi all I'm Scott

I found the sight a couple weeks ago while researching for my third smoker build. I am currently going nuts here in NW Ohio with all the cold weather because I can't get my cook chamber over 200* steadily. I hope to start a thread under "other builds" soon because it will be a hybrid of the first ones I built and all the changes will be to maximize heat flow and retention for cold weather.

I look forward to any and all suggestions.

Short of putting a massive range hood for exhaust in my garage so I can cook inside I don't know what else to do.

Have a great day!

Hello and welcome from East Texas. This is a great site, lots of information and great people that are willing to throw in their two cents worth on about anything.

We have some cold weather down here in East Texas, but nothing like you guys you get, maybe the weather will start getting better pretty soon.
