New man in town,happy to meet you.I live in the south western part of Ontario,Canada about 50 miles from Detroit,Michigan.I am married,67years old and retired for the second time.Built my first smoker about 20+ years ago from an old fridge and just got rid of it 2 years ago.As far as smoking I stayed to the sausage,jerky,wings,turkey and bacon.I was never short of wild game because a lot of my friends hunted but did not know how to smoke,so it was a trade off.I now have a Cajun Injector electric which does a pretty good job although the temp is usually way off,which I gather is common to most of the small smokers.It will do for now.                                                                                                .

Hello and Welcome to our addiction.  A word of warning: There is no 12 step program for this one!  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!
