My loving bride just brought me roughly 40 lbs of Pork Loin to do "Something" with in my smoke house.  I'm converting 6 Boston Butts into about 45 lbs of Sausage tomorrow already.  Any cool recipes for the 5 packs of pork loin I have will be welcomed!!!!!

On another note...... This is my Shop Fridge reserved storing meat until I either A. cook it within 24 hours, or B. Butcher it to freeze it, and store beer and diet cokes this is NOT indicative of the spotless kitchen fridge.

Ready, Set, GO with suggestions!

Regards,

Rob

Cut some into those thick 1 inch pork chops you don't see in the store anymore. Cut some more into 1 1/2 inch chops to butterfly for stuffed pork chops. Other than that, I agree with Cranky Buzzard on his list.

I would cut a roast out of the center then cut chops. Or cure it. Or stuff it.

Thick chops are always good. We buy loins tondo just that. Sometimes I will cold smoke the chops then vac pack and freeze for use later.

Cut into 4"-6" lengths then cure and make hams. Hot smoke and make a good peach or apricot glaze.

Canadian Bacon already been mentioned. As has stuffing. All good options.

Never heard of Bears ideal of the apple pie filling as with Bears other suggestions its got to be good but here is a twist to that we mix apple pie filling and sweet potato together as a side dish might be good as a stuffing too.

I agree; Every time I turn around there is something Bear has done that sounds wonderful!
As far as mixing goes, I'm all for it! A couple of years ago the Mrs. wanted to make a pie, but only had one can of Apple and one can of Blueberry. She just shrugged and went with it. It turned out we liked it so well, it's now a regular!
You gotta think outside the box now and then!
