My daughters school had an auction fund raiser to help raise money for various school activities. I offered to supply a BBQ party for somebody as one of the items to bid on. The menu will be 3 racks of babyback ribs, 20 pieces of chicken, 24 ABT's filled with cream cheese and chedder, a big pan of Dutch's Wicked Baked Beans, a container of my BBQ sauce... and I think I will throw in a bowl of slaw.

Apperantly it was a very popular item at the auction and ended up going for $325! LOL

Now I just have to live up to the hype.

Dang that is awesome. I dont think you have anything to worry about as far as the food goes. I think you have to worry about them knocking down your doors for more.

Great thing your doing there. Thumbs Up

Yup I agree, I see a trend starting here-great idea and good luck.

You will knock it out of the park man. I have a really good slaw recipe if you need one that is not too sweet. Send me a PM

Now thats a great thing that you have done. For worring about your ability to smoke this much meat and fixins to go along with it being good. Heck I know you can do it and have just been looking at your food for years now. So go out there and smoke till your heart knows it done right and htne serve it. it will be great.

Yeah.... I was just shocked at how much it went for! LOL

But at least it is for a good cause, now I just have to wait for the winner to call me and set up a date for when they want it delivered.

That's great Johnny. My wife is the Pack Committee Chairperson and every year the Cub Scouts do an auction to raise funds for the Pack activities for the year.  For this years auction she wants me to put together a BBQ package that she can put up for bid. Lucky for me the auction isn't until September so I got time to keep an eye out for sales to stock up.
