Hello to all!  My husband and I are now empty nestors with three kids in college.  We finally have the time to learn something new.  Would like to learn the art of smokin so when the kids all come back to visit we can have some great food!!!  We live in Ohio, around the Dayton area.  Looking forward to reading and learning from all you.

Welcome from SC. This is a great site with lots of folks who are eager to share their ideas and tips. All you have to do is ask and keep reading. With 3 in college, I would think you might be interested in some recipes for frankfurters or spam.

Good luck and good smokin', Joe

Hello and Welcome to our addiction.  Many good folks here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have, and pictures help a bunch.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  It's not smoked but I make a MEAN Spam salad.
