    Hi all,

    Never smoked anything in my life until my wife got me an electric smoker for Christmas and so far have only smoked some venison jerky (which turned out awesome!!). Its been to cold here in Wisconsin to smoke anything the last month but its promising to warm up into the mid thirties this weekend so I'm really itching to do some more smoking!  I'm planning on doing a pork loin then maybe some salmon that a friend of mine has in his freezer, this is my first attempt at both so any tips or recipes would be awesome.

    Welcome to the group!  Try the search icon at the top right for pork loin and salmon, you will be rewarded with tons of useful information.  You could also ask any questions you may have in the pork or fish forums and get some help.  Glad you joined us.
