Newbie in Wisconsin

  1. Hey all!  My name is Andy and I just received a Master-built Propane 2 door model for Christmas, can't wait to start making smoke!  I have tinkered with using indirect cooking with smoke using a conventional Webber grill with poor results.  I am super excited to try a real low and slow smoker!

    I have started to pick my way through these awesome threads and I am floored (and overwhelmed) by the amount of info here.  I can tell I have a new daily website to read and I am excited to get started smoking.

If you can't locate the answer just ask folks here are willing to share there knowledge.     First off welcome to SMF there Andy. I guess you like Toby Keith ha?  You'll really like this place for there are a bunch of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. Then if you have any questions you just post them here or yu can try in chat for a faster answer. If you are really new to all of this I would recommend that you look up and take the e-course. It is free and it will also give you the basics on smoking. So with all that said now go and get something to smoke.
