Newbie here

  1. I’ve been lurking around for a few months. Grabbing some recipes and such. Tried my first Boston butt per Jeff's recipe in a Masterbuilt 40". It was a crowd pleaser!

    Wife saw a Brinkman Smoke-n-pit at Walmart and picked it up for me for Christmas. I’ve done a couple of minor smokes on it now.

     I read about some of the mods on here, added bricks to the cook chamber and using the poor man’s baffle. I also extended the chimney down and over. I’ll be adding a support leg to the fire box this weekend. Might even try making a no-weld charcoal basket from expanded metal also!
