Hello everyone Im Chris from South Central Wisconsin and got a Bradley Original smoker for Christmas. Ive been doing a ton of homework and getting ready to try this out for my first time. Ill be trying a pork tenderloin and venison tenderloin looking for any pointers i can get. Thanks in advanced for all the help this place looks awesome for a new guy.

Welcome, Chris. You've come to the right spot for help. Lots of experts that know a lot about smoking just about anything you can think of.

Advice for the loins. Don't over cook them. I don't take any venison above 145. As for pork loin, don't go over 142. Others can correct me if necessary, but you won't be happy if you go too high on these.

Some great food can be made with a smoker, and you've got a lot of tasty eats in front of you . Good luck and happy Smokin.

Mark.

Welcome, glad to have ya here ! Congrats on the new smoker, I don't have a Bradley but have heard they are great smokers ! You can do a search in the upper right corner for Bradley smokers & you'll get a bunch of info !

As far as the cook, my suggestion is to definetly have a good therm for IT if you don't already have one ! Ya don't wanna overcook these as they are both very lean cuts ! I'd try to cook in the lower temps, 185-200* ! The pork tenderloin I'd season with a good rub ya like, then I'd take to 145* IT & the venison I'd season with SPOG (salt, pepper, onion powder & garlic powder) take to round 135* IT !

Hope this helps. Any other questions, just ask !
