Newbie from southern Arizona

Very interested in learning to smoke.  I've been a griller for a long time and want to try something new, thinking about starting with a pellet burner.  I'm retired from the Air Force and later health care materials management. Decided to lay down roots in Green Valley about a year ago and couldn't be happier.  Have friends in the area that have GMGs and Traegers.  After a lot of research I' looking ahh the RecTec 300.  Just the wife and me, and an occasional guest so it should be large enough.  This forum has provided a wealth of info.
