Hey everyone. Name's Larry but go by Merkee on the forum. Just starting smoking about a month ago on a Masterbuilt gas, and I already have the itch to try out a pellet smoker. This forum has been amazing and has saved me numerous times already. I've been smoking Boston butts mostly but have tried beer can chicken and baby back ribs too. Just wanted to say thank you for all the advice, and I look forward to many more smokes

Welcome from SC, Larry. It's good to have you here on this great site. On your next chicken, try spatchcocking it. Just look in the poultry sub-section and type in spatchcock. It cooks more even. It cooks quicker and it's easier to serve.

Good luck and God smokin', Joe. :grilling_smilie:
