Newbie from AZ

Hello there and Happy New Year!

My name is Jeremy and live in Northern AZ.  I have my own meat processing biz and am thinking about smoking meat this coming season. Getting a can/box as a foundation for my smoker and was thinking going electric...Prolly gonna start this weekend and I'll take pictures as I go along. Anyways, thanks for all the info I have found so far.

First off Welcome Jeremy to SMF. You'll like it here for there are alot of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking. Now there are alot of proven recipes for some amazing things here too. So if you need sign up for the E-Course it's free and it will give you the basics of smoking and some good methods to use also. So the next big thing for you to do is go out and get you something to smoke and if you happen to have any questions just post it here and we will be happy to answer them for you.

Welcome to the forum.  Glad to have you aboard.  Two years ago, I spent eight days at the Payson Hospital after having asthma and emphysema attack while fishing at Roosevelt Lake.  After that experience, I won't be coming back there anytime soon!

I'm a valley native but I've watched payson grow from a sawmill and rodeo town to a wall mart support group. Who's idea were the turnabouts and what happened to the Oxbow Salloon???
