ok i have built a fidge smoker but it only get up to 130 tops wich is dine for jery. but i am wanting to do more smoked fish and turkys so what i am wondering is i have a side bureder off my old grill i just junked. would that burner be good enough for a 3'x3'x5' smoke house and beable to reach 200 degres the shack would actually be 6.5 or 7 feet all together.

Welcome to the forum!

First make sure your thermo is accurate with a boil test. It's gonna take a fair amount of fire to heat up a unit that size. The side burner might be enough. Experimentation will tell the tale. I put a side burner in my vertical which works great, but it is no where near as big as your unit.

Would it be possible to put a second hot plate in there?
