Just signed up, though I've been smoking for years. I live in Walkersville, MD and am a KCBS certified judge, but haven't gotten into the competition so much. I just like doing good Q and a few annual pork bbq fund raisers. My herd includes small and large Weber kettles, Chargriller Smokin Outlaw with offset fire box, Chargriller Akorn and a good old fashioned cinder block bbq pit. Looking forward to continuing my bbq journey here!

ST-Welcome to SMF;  with that herd you've got, you'll fit in just fine.  Plan on being bombarded with questions from folks who want to get into competition BBQ-they will want to know what you judges look for on turn in boxes and all the other stuff that goes along with it.

Enjoy the Smoke!
