New to the group

  1. Hi all! I'm Greg. Been smoking for about 2 years, probably done about 12 briskets. I started on a cheap $50 walmart smoker and now have the Oklahoma Joe's Longhorn (That sound wrong to any football fans from Texas or Oklahoma? Haha). Last year for the super bowl I did 5 racks of pork ribs. This year I'm sticking with my brisket. Got a 15#( after trimming) packer on now.

    About me? I've been a Marine for 14 years, I work in Artillery, and also like to smoke cigars (great while smoking meat I might add).

  3. Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
    About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
    and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
    We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
    Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
    because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
