Hi guys, this looks like a great resource. Have a new MES 40" gen1, just shaking it out, but 20+ years with an electric bullet type doing shoulders and turkeys we're very pleased with. The old tub is rusting thru and about to die, so I got the MES based on users here, and the AMPS pellet tray.

Do woodworking for a living, so have LOTS of oak, maple, alder, cherry, that kind of stuff. Would prefer to use my "free" wood for smoking, but with the new unit I'll stick with Todd's pellets at least until I've figured it out and have it working reliably.
