New to Smoking

Hello my name is Dean and I'm from Michigan. I am new to smoking and am looking forward to starting. If anyone has any suggestions one what's the best way to start I am all ears. I just purchased a 30" Masterbuilt Sportsman Elite. Decided to start out with an Electric model. Am hoping to smoke this Thanksgivings Turkey this year.
