New to Smoking/BBQ

Greetings fellow cheeseheads. Figured I would join the group. Just picked up my Weber Kettle and will be ordering the Slow n Sear shortly. Still need a wireless thermometer. I was leaning toward the Maverick ET-732, but it seems either people love them or they are junk. So not sure what I am going to order at this stage.

I have the maverick and have had no issues. Did have to replace a probe but it was well used when it gave out.
