I live in northern NY and I want to try to build a brick pit in my backyard this spring. I have been on this site a few times but never really got too far into it. I finally joined and look forward to any advice that anyone is willing to give. Everyone seems pretty eager to share their knowledge so I'm hoping to get the pointers I'm looking for. Any helpful ideas would be appreciated.

. Browse the forums and ask lots of questions, get involved. There is a an amazing amount of info, recipes and knowledge here that are second to none. Enjoy good luck and share your experiences.

There is a topic on brick concrete smokers to look into, I remember a post with a link from a university ( i believe A&M) that had diagrams.

Good morning and welcome to the forum from a chilly and sunny day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web.             Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.
