Hi, Im a new smoker and just happened to run across Jeff's website. So I thought I would join and see what comes of it. I am from Tulsa and as I said I just bought my first smoker and really enjoy it. Ribs happen to be my favorite meat so far. Am excited to use Jeff's rub.Will post more after I've tried it.

Another welcome to smf,what kind of smoker did ya get?

I work at a sport store and purchased a cookout from Bruce foods. Had these at the store and with employee discount.....well you know the rest. I wanted something easy to start and learn from. This is it for me. I have smoked ribs,game hens, chicken breasts, bologna so far.  I cant wait to try this new receipe for ribs. I didnt realize I knew very little about this until I started reading.OH well, for me thats part of the fun. LATER
