New smoker here

What's up fellas my name is Daniel. I'm from the Dallas area. Just smoked my first thing ever yesterday, some st Louis ribs on my new weber smokey mountain 14 inch. Never lit a piece of charcoal till yesterday and I must say it turned out great. Especially for not even having everything I needed. Looking forward to some good reads and good chats.

Welcome Daniel!  Hope you didn't use starter fluid to light your first charcoal!

Thanks Mike. I in fact did not. I used some fire starter from Lowe's and a weber chimney.
